I have ordered take out here and I quite enjoyed it. It’s a great option for tasty pho in the Windermere area, which doesn’t have that many options for Vietnamese. I will definitely order again!!
I can't say enough good about this place! The staff were amazing! Friendly the whole time, greet you and make you feel comfortable! Helpful when I didn't know what to get. The food was sooo good! I've had a dish close somewhere else but no where as good or as much food for the price! Definitely a return customer!
Love eating at Sweet Basil, Their Pho is one of the best one in town. Fried Wonton was yummy. Also recommend their Fried Chicken rice too

Love this place!! The restaurant itself is clean & bright & cheery, the service is excellent, & the food is *exceptional*! We've been coming to a Sweet Basil for years, now, & have never been disappointed by any of the dishes they've served. (Get the lemonade; it's 3.00 for a pint (20 oz) of *hand-squeezed*!) As pescatarians, trying to find reliably good 'red-meat-free' pho has been an ongoing challenge for us. Sweet Basil's 'Vegetarian Noodle Soup' has one of the best vegetarian broths I've ever tasted, the most consistent I've yet found (all other veg pho I've tried in Edmonton have previously had "bad batches"), & the only one (so far) to offer multiple tofu options (steamed or deep fried). In addition to the tofu, broth, & noodles their Veg soup includes a standard selection of veggies (carrot, mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, green onion, lemongrass), all of which are consistently fresh & flavorful. Just WOW. Amazing delicious flavours of their 5 colour bowl had me eating it up well after I was full. Fantastic portions, I couldn’t finish it all. Full rich Vietnamese coffee served with a smile. Wonderful service and super cute atmosphere. If you’re looking for a wonderful meal -go here. I’ll be back. **Have been back many times Oh and the spring rolls. Omg. The best I’ve ever had.
The vermicelli bowl here was delicious. The flavor was good the fish sauce was not too sweet or sour. The portions could be larger but not too bad, fills you up, but not overly like some other pho places. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Great service. Will be coming back often!
Pho in good portion and reasonable price. Serving lady was very nice and have very good relationship with customers. She can remember what you order before. Excellent service and will come back. I also had fire wings but forgot to take picture. The dipping sauce is quite special it tastes sour but also like plum. Interesting.
